Heather Ammons Crawford announces candidacy for SC House District 68 | News

(Myrtle Beach) – Horry County native and local conservative Heather Ammons Crawford announced today that she will seek the Republican nomination for South Carolina House District 68.

“Since Representative Viers announced that he will not seek reelection to the South Carolina State House I have considered for some time a possible run for the seat.  After much thought and consideration I have decided to seek the office of SC House District 68,” said Heather. 

“Over the years, I’ve watched with great expectations, the robust growth our unique and burgeoning community has experienced.  As a native of Horry County, I’m proud to call the Grand Strand my home, and I’m committed to its further development as a great place for people to live, work, raise a family and visit.  A strong Grand Strand for us equals a stronger South Carolina for everyone.”
