Sports bar to open in old Angelo's Steak location

On Monday, November 12, 2012, a new business is opening up in Myrtle Beach. R & R Bar and Grill will open at 2011 S. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach (the former address of Angelo’s Steak and Pasta). The business is owned and operated by Bill Mattress (843-222-2750) and Angelo Antonucci, the owner of Angelo’s Steak and Pasta which moved to a new location at 2311 S. Kings Highway on October 5th.

The business will feature a sports bar, game room and entertainment lounge. The capacity of this establishment is over 250 and will employ over 35 people.

The Market Common will welcome a new tenant, Current 27, to Howard Avenue this Friday, November 8.  Current 27's bright, contemporary boutique will carry mostly women's fashion along with denim and shirts for men.  Current 27 will sell popular West Coast brands including JJ Winters, Blaque Label, True Religion, and Hudson Denim.  

The owners are Tiffany Woodyard and Nicole Joseph.  Nicole states, "The boutique concept features labels from today’s up and coming designers to less intimidating edgy editions.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC - A Myrtle Beach local was shining in Miami Beach on June 24 during Hooters 16th Annual International Swimsuit Pageant where $100,000 in cash and prizes were at stake.

Following the competition, Lindsay Lanier, 21, was awarded with “Hooters 2012 Viewer’s Choice” out of 100 contestants from around the world.

Lanier has worked at the Hooters of North Myrtle Beach for four years and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in biology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) –The new Target on Highway 544 will have the usual features found inside of the retailer spread over 135 thousand sq. feet.

arget teams members are working around the clock filling up empty shelves and prepping the store for its big opening next week. 

So far, the store's team leader, Danielle Flores, says everything is seems to be going according to plan and next Tuesday it will officially be open to the public. The new store will feature a pharmacy, Starbucks, café, photo lab and grocery section.

Simplified Office Systems (SOS) is celebrating its ribbon cutting in conjunction with its Technology Showcase Wednesday, June 20.

The ribbon cutting will take place at 11:30 a.m. with Technology Showcase starting at 12:00 p.m. The events will take place at Damon's Grill in North Myrtle Beach and complimentary lunch is provided for all Technology Showcase attendees.
